BANCOI IS FIDEL

The night of Friday, November 25th, became into a disconcerting tint, as Raul's distressed voice revealed the sad news of the death of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. The commotion in Cuba and the world was general, with his physical disappearance we said goodbye to the Indisputable Leader of the Cuban Revolution and one of the most charismatic, visionary and human figures in the history of the people of America and the world.

In the sea of consternation unleashed, the collective of Banco de Inversiones S.A. wasn’t the exception. On Monday 28th, first thing in the morning took place in the headquarters of Bancoi an activity, with emotional words from the Executive President and tears in the eyes of several of those present. Then all the workers went to the "José Martí" Memorial to sign the oath to fulfill the concept of the Commander's Revolution and pay him posthumous homage, with mixed feelings of dejection, sadness, longing and deep respect for the protagonist of the Cuban revolutionary process.

In a sign of respect and remembrance of this great, Bancoi devoted entirely the international commentary of his Daily Bulletin "Hoy en el Mercado" of November 28th to the figure of Fidel. In addition, the Bank offered his morning of Friday, December 2nd, to recall the landing of the Granma yacht and the posthumous tribute of the Commander in Chief, who casually sailed from Tuxpan aboard the Granma on November 25th, the same day he is now anchored to eternity.

In these dates of recollection for the physical loss and at the same time reaffirmation of the validity of its ideas, the Bank promises to remember him and to follow his legacy by ratifying his values, by the efficiency and continuous improvement. His concept of Revolution will be the constant guide, his memory will be the motivation to be better and better.

Thus, the image of Fidel will prevail in Bancoi not only through the gigantography of the Commander-in-Chief placed in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of his birth, but his example will endure in the hearts of each worker, endorsing the phrase "I am Fidel".
